Developers Corner - API Guide

The Web Enterprise Suite portal provides interfaces that external applications can use to obtain access to portal services. This portlet contains "how to" developer information with interface level guidelines for accessing portal services.

• Developers Guide - The purpose of this document is to guide developers as to the details of the Catalogue API, with examples of how to use this network-accessible service.
• Portal Authentication - Use the portal authentication services to verify user access permissions.
• Context Rendering - Use context rendering to render context documents into images.
• OGC CSW 2.0.2 - Query and access the WES Service Repository using the OGC CAT 2.0 interface specifications.
• WES Gazetteer - Query and access the WES Gazetteers using interfaces based upon the OGC WFS-G interface.
• Z39.50 Gateway - Gateway - Query and access a clearinghouse node using the portal's Z39.50 gateway interface.
